If you choose to contact the campaign, sign up for updates, request a reminder, or complete a form, we may collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, mobile phone number, issue priorities, comments, and any other information you choose to submit.

How we use it

We will use your information only to:

Respond to your question or request;

Send campaign updates and election information;

Send requested voting or election-day reminders; and

Understand the issues Terrace residents identify as important.

We will not use your information for commercial purposes.

Text messages and email

By providing your email address or mobile number, you are consenting to receive campaign and election information from James Cordeiro for Terrace.

You may unsubscribe from emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in the message. To stop text messages, reply STOP. You can also contact us directly to have your information removed sooner.

No selling or sharing

We will not sell, rent, trade, or provide your personal information to other candidates, political parties, businesses, or organizations.

The website and campaign communications may use service providers that help operate the website, forms, email, or text-message systems. Those providers may process information only on the campaign’s behalf and only as needed to provide those services.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Access is limited to the campaign team members who need the information for the purposes described above.

Deletion after the election

Campaign contact information and form submissions will be deleted on or about October 18, 2026, following the Terrace by-election, unless retention is required by law.

Access, correction, and questions

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask that it be deleted before October 18, 2026.
